Linking Tourism & Conservation: June 4-5 (6), 2010. Arendal, Norway. Linking Tourism and Conservation (LT&C) aims to highlight worldwide examples of best practices in tourism that supports the development and management of protected areas.
The Seminar will build on the results of the LT&C-Arendal Seminar in 2007 and will give representatives from tourism, conservation and investment sectors an international forum, where we develop answers to how to get postive results working together. http://www.grida.no/  

IPY Oslo Science Conference: June 8-12, 2010. Norway will host a large conference which is the first opportunity for direct interaction among all International Polar Year (IPY) projects. The International Polar Year was a large scientific programme focused on the Arctic and the Antarctic from March 2007 to March 2009. This conference intends to demonstrate, strengthen, and extend the International Polar Year's accomplishments in science and outreach. http://www.ipy-osc.no/

IPY From Knowledge to Action: April 22-27, 2012. Montreal, Canada. EXPO 2012:  May 12 - August 12, 2012. Yeosu, Korea. This Expo will take the theme of The living ocean and coast, and will seek to provide a learning opportunity to the public, as well as present solutions to environmental challenges and propose measures for the sustainable use and development of marine resources.
